Free Calceolaria Herbeohybrida Hybrids Plants

acalypha hispida plant
With its colourful, balloon-shaped flowers, the Calceolaria provides an appealing display for a few weeks from late spring to early summer. The flower varieties are yellow, orange or red, with patterning produced by spots and freckles. Place the plant in a welllit position, otherwise the growth will become leggy, and keep a constant watch for aphid and whitefly. Too much warmth can reduce the flowering period considerably, so maintain a moderate temperature. Once flowering has finished, the Calceolaria is usually discarded.
